This Countertop Reverse Osmosis Water Filter works perfect for camping.

We recently purchased a new camper. On our maiden voyage we stopped at a campground in a sleepy town in Florida. We wanted to work out some of the bugs. We used a camper filter coming into the camper, but noticed a familiar city water smell (Chlorine). I purchased a water tester and found the ppm at our kitchen faucet around 360 to 460 ppm depending on time of day.

Good countertop RO water filter system

This is overall a very nice RO water filtration system. The 1 gallon reservoir will provide about 3/4 of a gallon of RO water, and within minutes. Easy to set up and operate. Direction booklet could be a little more detailed. No explanation on the fruit infuser glass tube or what it is for, just a picture. Water reservoir, when it gets low, will set off the “Replace” indicator, meaning add more water. I have found sometimes the ppm is above 500 and will set off that indicator and you will see the value on the display. I have found a flush will usually clear and lower the ppm below 500 so it will then run, but have also found it will run even over 500. So not sure if the ppm sensor is really accurate or not. Auto shut off when not in use to save power a nice feature. The RO water is very clean and you can taste the difference from tap water. RO water has literally no taste. The included glass picture is 40 ounces (a detail not specified anywhere.). Thus the 8, 20 & 40 oz.

I am absolutely thrilled with the Shine-Joy Reverse Osmosis Water Filter! I have been using this machine daily, and it has truly exceeded my expectations. I rely on it to filter my tap water and then transfer the clean water into my 5-gallon jugs for drinking, coffee, and tea. The entire process is incredibly easy and efficient, thanks to its user-friendly touch buttons. To use it, I simply fill the water tank with tap water, snap the lid back on, and let the machine automatically flush. The next step is selecting the desired amount of water (8oz, 20oz, or 40oz), or I can just start it without choosing a volume, though in that case, I need to manually stop the machine when it’s done (or it will run until the tank is almost empty).
